Mines does at 1.28, didn't really test with prime, did a quick 40min test...  but I think typically its like 1.3-1.37, can I ask what made you do 1.45v?

well i was trying to go to 5ghz but no luck, maybe i wasn't ocing right or something or some settings were off as this is my first SB chip but then i backed down to 4.8ghz and when i ran prime it wouldnt be stable until i high higher volts, but then it would crash so i went down to 4.5ghz and would still not be stable unless i went higher volts, i think maybe some settings are off but its the rig in my sig and not sure what settings to change but i heard its supposed to be easy to OC it? just a few settings and then just set the mult?

I have the C8 kit yes.

Now it's actually running @ 1866 8-9-8-24-107 2T. 1T seemed impossible, didn't really go into it much further because I was suffering from BF3 withdrawal.

Sorry for the late reply

Well, I've found Sandy Bridge to be very voltage sensitive. More isn't always better. Definitely experiment with IO and SA voltages as well as PLL (this one is a real PITA) voltage.
Disable the power saving stuff (Intel speed step, C1E) and raise the TDP limit if you haven't done it already.
