2x OCZ2P10664GK installed, looking to add 2x2

Hiya,

My system is:
asus P5QL-E
intel Q6600
2x2GB OCZ2P10664GK 4gb total
geforce GTS250
samsung 500 gb HD502IJ

Im from belgium.

I want to upgrade to 8GB total.

The system currently runs very stable with manual bios memory voltage and timing settings of:
5-5-5-15 at 2.2 volt 800 mhz dual channel.
(i have experienced manny crashes if i set up this memory in any other way, the store even had to replace the memory that was initialy inside my setup with this to get it to work, it took them much effort to find the right memory)

I been trying to find more OCZ2P10664GK but they are nowhere to be found, and i even read that going for 4x2 GB using OCZ2P10664GK results in constant crashing.

What memory modules from for example kingston or corsair can i add to get upto 8GB.

So im trying to find a another brand of 2x2GB kit that will run at 5-5-5-15 , 2.2v , 800 Mhz , anyone know what modules will do this stable?

KHX8500D2K2/4G from kingston for example on paper can do this but can it really? even kingston seems to advice against it?

according to a tool from crucial i can use http://www.crucial.com/eu/store/mpar...D3C4E7A5CA7304

wich is 5-5-5-15 2.0v memory, but im not sure if it takes into account that i will manualy crank it up to 2.2 volt as thats what the OCZ memory is running at.

Will those crucial modules be abble to handle 2.2 volt?

First off, why do you need 8GB of memory? are you watching your RAM usage? Unless you are video editing or doing hard core multi tasking I doubt that you are hitting 4GB

Second, you are using a 32bit operating system, which limits you to 4gb of RAM.

Sorry , im running windows 7 64 Bit now (i dont know how to change my system specs on here), and i need 8 GB of ram because i run multiple game clients at the same time (a MMO where i have 4 account that i run at the same time to be exact). My memory usage far exceeds the 4GB that i have. Its uses the page file like crazy.

edit: i just figured out how to edit system specs

I totally agree! I bet you could find someone who could use your ram, then you could get a matched set of 8Gb's

Ok letts say i have given up on trying to get memory that will work alongside my current 2.2v 4GB and i buy a whole new bunch of 8GB memory , wich memory can i use for that?

Woud:
Kingston Valueram memory 4GB 800MHz DDR2 Non-ECC CL6 DIMM (Kit of 2)
P/N KVR800D2N6K2/4G
Work?

KVR800D2N6/4G is what the QVL file for my P5QL-E mobo suggests me getting but its nowhere to be found anymore (this is a file from 2009). Will 2 kits of KVR800D2N6K2/4G (4x2) work to get my 8GB of memory?
If not what modules that are still available do you suggest me getting to get up to 8GB.
