(Fixed)- Can't get monitor to acknowledge comp

Thread Starter
hello. i'm not sure if this is the right place to post this or not. i recently got a BSoD and when i went to restart my computer, it wouldn't turn on. i bought a new power supply and changed the power/reset switches only to find out the problem was just that i needed to reset the jumper on my motherboard. the comp comes on now and loads up, but for some reason, it is no longer acknowledging any monitor i plug in. my graphics card is a radeon ati sapphire 5670. i'm not sure if it's the problem or what. the cooling fan on the gpu is still stanning strongly. any help you may be able to give is greatly appreciated.

This may be redundant but did you enable it in Display?

Are you sure that the 5670 is plugged into the power supply if needed?

i'm guessing that it's starting up because i can hear the hard drives spinning and the cd and dvd drives working. there's none of that clicking that goes along with a dead hdd.

computer doesn't beep at all, all fans spin, tried unlugging everything and putting it back one by one. i'm starting to think the problem is motherboard or graphics card, but i have no way of testing either as i don't have alternates to swap in.

It'll only beep if it has a speaker, does it?

Have you tried one dimm at a time, alternating slots?
Could very well be a memory problem since it started with a bsod?

Turns out neither the keyboard nor mouse are lighting up either. Does this mean my mobo is dead/damaged?
