The AMD ASRock Extreme Series Motherboard Club - Page 3

Here seems to be a more comprehensive list. For comparing D3 to other deluxes, there's this list.
And finally, here are the specifications for the mobo.

It has been a great motherboard, only few minor gripes. Wouldn't start from normal power-on button with HD5770 Sapphire Vapor-X so had to use boot to get it started. The LLC was giving way too much voltage on default settings, but when changed to "slight" it works like a dream.

Btw what do you guys reckon, will ASRock give bios updates to their AM3 boards for bulldozer compatibility? Looks a bit ominous in the sense that they have a campaign ad for "real" AM3+ motherboards..

For their 890FX chips, quite possibly, but there's been so much confusion as to what boards can support the new CPU's that I can't give you a clear-cut answer on that. I'd contact support if you're seriously looking into investing in a Bulldozer chip.

They should, but only if the boards have decent enough hardware to run the chips, you've seen the supposed tfp of the new cpu's, like 186w

I think if the board gets a BIOS update or has the am3+ socket it should be right.

I am away from home for a week or so, so I won't have much time to update and stuff until I get home.

I'm considering the 970 Extreme4. I'm wanting to crossfire 2 5770's. The dual x8 for PCI-E will be enough bandwidth, right?

Yes, you won't be seeing any kind of significant bottlenecks from an x8/x8 setup. If you see any bottleneck, it'll be from the CPU, unless you end up getting a Bulldozer.
