Good luck! It sounds like a good idea. I'm happy with my 955 for now though.

I've heard it hitting 4GHz as low as 1.27-1.3v (1.35v'ish unless ur lucky). If the 890's are unlocking then most certainly the 990's will as well.

@ $130 / 95W / UnLocked Quad sounds pretty nice. OC the snot outta that guy & he looks good on paper; kinda like a communist.

I'm selling my 1100T so my 990Pro is gonna be looking for a non-Bull Dozing cpu. The 1090T is the prime candidate atm, but a 960T might do just fine. I'm not so much concerned with the UnLock to a Hexa-Core...more like a Quad @ 4.5GHz on low wattage.

If the cores are alright, You can unlock it with every ASRock MBO because they all have the UCC chip -> Unlock CPU Core

The 890GX Extreme3 was the first board to present the UCC chip.

All I can find is CHV references, sadly.

Maybe try the Bulldozer owner's club, if you haven't already. It should be similar to any other AMD CPU though.

Thanks

Ohhh and i think there's 2 or 3 errors on the user list. There are a few cpus with combined names. Example: AMD Phenom II X4 1090TBE
It's that or those are on purpose, but just letting you know!

I did that on purpose after I realised the 1090t's and 1100t's were black edition chips.
