thought i had to go thru that command prompt screen to get to create array .. gonna try ctrl f see where it brings me,, its a shame i have 2 identical hd's both new sata 3 wd's i should get better performance then my single raptor 160

After the initial EFI changes are made & it's set to "RAID" a reboot and CTRL+F will bring you to the onboard controller's BIOS (as you called "command prompt"). There you'll make your array then proceed the installation process per usual.

The STRIPED performance may or may not exceed the single Raptor. SATA 3 didn't really knock my socks off on a Mechanical HD.

The voltage in the bios could be a lot lower than it actually is. Put it under load and see what it says under cpu-z if you set the voltage to 1.5. I bet's actually like 1.38.

this will be coming as soon as I get my board and ram, waiting for them to get here, the board will be here tomorrow, however i dont know about the ram as usually with eggsaver shipping my stuff gets blackholed in kc missouri on its way to my place here in highland illinois, because for some odd stupid reason eggsaver always wants to route it thru kc missouri instead of st louis missouri directly?

This may be true. Your old board could have been giving 1.45-1.5 on load at that setting, and the new one is giving 1.4-1.45. Make sure to test with and without Load Line Calibration on. Just set it, reboot into the bios again and check which setting gets your V-Core to where it needs to be on the system health monitor.

Load Line Calibration lets your CPU use a little less juice under idle and ratchets up v-core a bit when the cpu starts pulling more power(load).
