Motherboard: Asrock 990FX extreme4
CPU: FX-8150

Also wanted to know if anyone with the Asrock 990FX extreme4, have a big delta between core temps and the cpu temps. Mine have 30c difference at load and Im not sure if my temp sensor is broken or my cpu diode is busted. By the way im using a h100 as my cooler. Attach pic about what im talking about. It has a very a mild overclock and i was thinking if i should go 24/7 with this setting as it is prime stable at low vcore, but insane cpu temps lol!

The 49 is accurate. Don't worry your temps are fine.

I took 2 sticks of RAM out and left 2 in the red slots. Rebooted and CPU-Z said it was running in single channel mode. I moved them to the black slots and they are back to dual channel. Strange things

changing voltage for vcore and cpu-nb in bios does not work now for me. I needed more than 1.34v on vcore to get to 3.8ghz so I kept upping it in bios. I had it set to 1.5 in bios and HWmonitor, CPU-z, and AETU all reported 1.34v. the only way I am able to change it now is through AETU (asrock extreme tuning utility) and that is stupid. In AETU I do NOT have the boxes checked that say "auto apply when program start" and "auto run when windows start". I uninstalled it to make sure it wasnt messing things up but changing from bios still doesn't work.

any ideas?

thanks
