which is why i was kind of pissed to that 990fx mobo review on the news section to only see no extreme 4 what so ever.

do they run hot? i have an EVGA superclock as you can see below i don't think load temps whent over the 40s with prime but, those are stock clocks.

I just updated mine and I can get to bios and redo my settings but I haven't even tried to Overclock yet and I can't get to desktop. before I get login screen it is just a blank screen with a cursor in the upper left blinking... for like an hour.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

ok the boot order was messed up nevermind

You can add me to the club. Ive used just about all the different manufactures of mobos over the years and i must say the Asrock is really solid. I just got an 970 extreme 3 for $79 free shipping. Replaced an Asus M4A79 Deluxe. I gave that board to a family member as an upgrade. The Asrock overclocks my Thuban quite a bit better then the Asus board did. The cpu voltage is significantly more stable then the Asus i think thats why.

Thuban 1090T @ 4.0 1.45v 250x16

Mushkin Blackline 1600 1.5v @ 8-8-8-24 cmd1 833
