Thanks!, that is when I first got my case, mobo, and PSU. Since then I burnt the hell out of my mobo with those pretty little LED's you see there lol, but don't worry I have another one on the way, I love the mobo! Its a work in progress but in another month or so it should be done! I have to give props to my wife for the pic though shes a Professional Photographer and the pictures make a big difference between an ehhhh... build and a awesome impression build online! biggrin.gif

Figured I mite post some pics of what you could do if some faulty hardware ruined your brand new Fatality Mobo. It looks kind of retarded but I think im gonna keep the front logo that came off of the bridge chipset cooler, also I have the other heatsink on the side of the case plus I used the heat pipe and heatsink to modd one of my HD6970's for additional cooling. This is what happens when you get board waiting for your replacement mobo! tongue.gif

Ok so got my Replacement 990FX PRO today and all I get is a DR Debug code 07 which in the book says "AP Initialization after microcode loading". I have tried just about everthing, I even swaped out the Bios for the one out of my old board that I know works. Tried switching ram slots, checked CPU pins and reseated the CPU, unplugged all hard drives and usb......... Havo no Idea what to do now, I dont want to have to RMA but I know that there is a chance its the CPU bc it was in my old board that got shorted out.....

Now after a few minutes it displayed Error code 54 which when looked up said "Unspecified memory initialization error"

Now after reseting it went from 07 to 06 which means microcode loading

Try some other VGA card.

I managed to get some lower speed ram and same problem so I have it packed up and ready to ship to newegg for RMA! I dont have my second HD6970 yet so im gonna go on the fact that the card has always been reliable, besides the board still displays the code even if the card is out. If anything is bad other than the mobo it should be the processor but the worst that can happen is I would figure it out when I get my new cpu, it would suck though bc it was a good processor and I was gonna use it in another build> mad.gif When I researched the code the ASRock Fata1ty rarely had problems but other 990 boards have had many microcode errors and it was there board. I have an ass load of crap im waiting in the mail to finish this build anyway so no big deal! wink.gif

Loving the board so far. Are the XFAST utilities worth using?
