I haven't overclocked yet, I'm planning on it some time this weekend. I'm planning on getting it to 4.1 ghz.

Okay, I just checked my bios settings again, it looks like the CPU LLC the only options are auto, disabled, and enabled. I'm assuming I just leave it disabled?

Also, what did you guys do with the DRAM Voltage, HT Voltage, CPU VDDA Voltage, and PCIE VDDA Voltage? Did you guys just leave it on auto or leave it on manual with the stock settings? Also when I'm overclocking should I disable Secure Virtual Machine?

There's also this setting at the top of the OC Tweaker tab called Overclock Mode under the CPU Configuration section, if I leave Overclock Mode on Manual it gives me two settings, CPU Frequency (set at 200 mhz) and PCIE Frequency (set at 100 mhz). Do I leave that on auto or do I leave that on manual with the stock settings when I'm overclocking?

Yes I dont run LLC with FX. The digital PWM on this board is actually pretty darn good. In fact the voltages are much more stable then my $180 dollar Asus deluxe board before... I'd say up to 1.5v with good cooling this board is just as good as anything ive used and in many ways better when it comes to bios tweaks.

There are some really good general FX overclocking guides out there.

So what did you set the options under Voltage Configuration to anyways? I know you have CPU LLC disabled. Not sure what to do with the other voltage configuration options (DRAM, NB, HT, CPU VDDA, PCIE VDDA). Also, there's this thing called Overclock Mode, did you set that to auto or manual? Because if its on manual it just gives me the CPU Frequency and PCIE Frequency, is there a good guide for overclocking on ASRock motherboards?

Hey, on my ASRock 970 Extreme3 I don't have an option for HPC mode, is that normal?

Yeah, I'm throttling under load and my voltage can drop from 1.35-36 to 0.88 under load during stress testing so my clockspeed takes a hit also. I think I'll have to enable LLC.

I'm on the latest bios version also so I shouldn't have any issues. I didn't update the bios, it was already on the latest version which means my motherboard was built after the latest bios update. I'll probably try overclocking at a later time like after finals.
