I moved to an Asrock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 from a Gigabyte 970A-D3 v1.0 which had a faulty sensor.
I like to know can an FX6350 go past a cinebench cpu single core score past 1.22+. Currently my FX6300 reaches 1.18-9 cpu single core, 4.86 cpu on Cinebench 11.5. My multiplier it set 18(3762)-22.5x(4702) bus 209mhz, ht 2090 (auto) set at 1.260v. My SuperTalent 1600 ddr3 is rated 9-9-9-28-37 but I have set it to 1672 (836) but use the JEDEC#6 rating of 838 11-11-11-30-41. I want a reliable workstation, 60% for CAD, 15% for rendering and 25% for email and web research. I have CnQ and all power saving state enable without issues and don't run games.
Will a FX6350 using the same ram or with 1866 ram reach or exceed this level? And also had anyone use a DDR3 1866, given it will have a DRAM frequency of 933 and a corresponding bus of 233 mhz. So at multiplier of 17x(3961) - 21x(4893) on a FX6300, 19.5x(4543) - 21.5x(5009) on a FX6350Edited by jigzaw - 8/23/13 at 1:04pm
