In the end it's all the same [assuming clocks and timings are the same].

I've done countless builds for people with RipJaws, Redlines, etc... in the end it's really just dependent on price. All come with lifetime warranties and many have excellent Customer Support. Crucial, Corsair, GSkill, Mushkin and Kingston have all been great in the past with me, some for RAM, some for flash drives etc

I like my G.Skill PI.

It all really comes down to price + voltage + timing.

The default for X58 is 1.65 but mine is a 1.5 7timing. Gives me some room to add more voltage and tighten timings. Just all depends what you want.

sadly...im ignorant of timings and voltage and how it helps ram. I know more about GPU's and CPU's and such...yet never really touched on RAM.
Id love it if somone would lend a hand tho.. smile.gif

G.Skill all day. I was a Corsair guy for a long time. Tried G.Skill 2 years ago. 10+ systems later. Needless to say I wont be using anything other G.Skill for a long time.

1600Mhz speed is preferable. With the new 990 boards you can get much faster if desired.

Tight timings and low CAS latency is where it counts with AMD. 6-7 preferable.

as said earlier, in the end they are all the same. Just get a good kit with at least 1333 or 1600MHz speed and decent timings.
