MISSION
A simple and elegant white Cooler Master Storm Scout mod.
MODIFICATIONS
-Cut down case to accommodate large graphics cards (IE the 5870).
-Replace the stock Cooler Master HDD cage with a classy aluminum Lian Li one.
-Keep cables minimal and clean.

Got my Storm Scout! Used, but in good shape. It'll just take a bit of cleaning.

Stage Three: Painting & Visuals
Ok, so since the red of the HD5870 doesn't really match my color scheme, I decided to cover it up with a bit of carbon fiber vinyl. Here's the original card:

And after I applied the vinyl:

Looks a lot better, doesn't it?

The original plan was to go strictly black and white on the inside:

But I decided to scrap it for a more rugged/icy look:

The final painted frame, with the new Lian Li cage!

My careful masking tape job payed off. The lines look nice and neat.

This is good. The only thing I don't like is the rugged 5.25 bay area. It would make sense for something like the HAF series but it doesn't quite match the cleaner exterior.
