Thanks for all the support guys! It's been a while since the competition, but I still appreciate all the comments, this case was a absolute pleasure to work on.

One thing I had a question on: in one of your completion photos there's a large card beneath the Radeon that has a large heat sink on it. I looked up the Asus Xonar, but the images didn't show a large heat sink. What is it?
Just a curiousity smile.gif
Thanks for sharing your talent!

That card is the 9500GT, which I was using for a while for PhyX. Sorry for the late response!

I must say that's a really good job you did there my man. thumb.gif I'm just getting one of these cases for my next build and if the black and red wasn't already my theme I'd definitely go for this one! Love how you changed even the buttons to white. Just curious though. I see you cut the cage you say to give the 5870 clearance. Was that because of the placement of the slot on the board, or does the Scout simply not allow room for a card of that size?
I plan to upgrade to that card or better eventually (or hopefully win something like it for my birthday 12-9 this year) rolleyes.gif

P.S. Someone made a comment about the fans not matching the theme. To be honest with you I think they compliment the orange on the power supply bringing balance to the (force) so to speak. wink.gif Besides you did mention that you went off course as you were doing the project so with that being said in the words of the 3dgameman all in all this right here is a 100% Kickass product!

Hey man, thanks for the input! I really appreciate it. It may be kind of difficult to see in the pictures, but after replacing the HDD cage and trimming a bit of metal off of the 5.25" bay area, the 5870 barely fit. Luckily, if you don't have anything installed in the bottom 5.25" bay, you can get away with the card extending into the bay area a bit. If I'd left the stock HDD cage in there, I may have still been able to fit the 5870 in there, but only in the top slot. There's no way you'd be able to fit a card that long in the bottom PCI-e slot because of clearance issues. As far as placement of the slot on the board, that configuration is pretty standard, most boards will be similar. The 5870 was an exceptionally long card. A lot of the high end cards that have come out recently are actually shorter than the 5870. Anyway, I hope this helps!

I have to say I love everything but the black & white speckle on the DVD holder. I usually dont like when people have the exposed screws on the side panel but I think it works good with this project. It really fits in with the rest of the case.
