Mods:
Stealth Drive bay
Side Panel LCD
Rear Mounted 360 Rad
Side Panel Hinges
Remote controlled Fans, lights, lcd
I think the easiest way of doing this is to show you so below is a series of pictures and videos and then in post 2 I will add more info on the mods and include schematics etc.
I'm going to slowly add to this post with all the info I can on the mods I have done.
LCD:
The LCD is a Joytech ps2 screen, it runs at a resolution of 640x480
The software I use is samurize and the screens are what I have designed myself but if anyone wants me to share them I can do
The spectrums run through a winamp plugin
Hinges:
The hinges are just cheap small ones from any local hardware shop and they are bolted to the front of the chassis and the lip from the side panel, the lip has to be cut and bent to size.
Lighting/fans:
Lighting and fans are all controlled by an infrared relay board.
Schematics can be found here: http://picprojects.org.uk/projects/ir/3chlrc/
The relay board switches either my radiator fans or system fans between 5v and 12v. When first powering on they are 5v or using my dell axim I can switch them to 12v.
For led wiring see:
Fan wiring:
(I will add more pictures of this)
Dell axim/remote control:
I use a dell axim x50 running RemoteControl II from wincesoft. It took ages to get the remote setup as it not only controls the PC but my TV, amp and bedroom light

I really like what you have done with the screen there. I guess it could have gone in the 5 1/4" bays if there was more space available.
Actually I ruled out the bays because the LCD wouldn't fit without have to mod the plastic at the sides and it wouldn't look right I think, plus where I have my PC you see the side not the front
Very Nice mods there. You might look into offering your services and make a bit of money doing it. I would also enter yourself into the MoTM (Mod of the Month) on OCN and several other sites as I would wager that you would be a shoe in for winning. A lot of other sites give some nice prizes including money for winning their contests. If you need a nomination the PM me and I would be happy to nominate you for it. Keep up the good work and I am definitely subscribing to this thread. I look forward to your finished product and all of the how to's.

Would there be a way to put the LCD on the other side panel (The back panel)? The way that I have my computer setup, I see the back panel side all the time and that would be really nice to be able to monitor the temps, fan speeds, and various other information just by looking over a little. How deep is the LCD screen? Would I have to cut out not only the side panel but some of the motherboard tray also?
Thanks in advance for any info you can add here,
Nathan

With the LCD I have I would say yes it would fit, it's quite slim, I will give exact measurements when I get home but you should only need to cut the side panel
As for motm I have attempted to enter but I don't think they will allow me to enter as I haven't got enough in progress pics but I believe that to not be fair because that is not in the rules and it's still a mod! Maybe if you put in a good word for me in the thread they will accept me
That mod is awesome. And probably the most useful I have seen.
