They had blu ray offered but i went for another hdd and ill just got an external dvd drive and besides i barely used the dvd drive... And can u show me a link that a 2960xm can match up the 990x

If you want an actual comparison, look up the 2600K vs the 990X on google. Games make better use of a quad than a hex at the moment and the power draw between 130w and 55w is significant enough to warrant either 5 minutes battery life or about an hour, which could mean you can boot up and shut down or boot up, do a few things for a bit, and then shut down. Not to emtnion you can't overclock the 990X in that laptop as the cooling system is barely adequate for the job as is. So you're stuck with the 3.73GHz turbo it provides. tongue.gif Mind you, it gets up to 85*C+ at stock clocks for the 990X. That's not safe for any desktop CPU.

You can get whatever you want, but at the end of the day, the 2960XM is better for the money and the M18x is cheaper.

well yea i already knew that 2600k is better than i7980 but i do convert alot of videos too.. ill let u know what happen as soon as i get the laptop. i did get it for 599 tho not 999 compare to 2960xm
