well tomorrow im gonna get the hinges for the side panel and work on that and measure out how much sleeving and heatshrink ill need to sleeve ALL the cables ill post pics but theyll have to be from my droid incredible as my camera is almost dead and im not able to find the usb cable to charge it so im gonna be ordering a new one

more pics of it somewhat complete:

My fan controller for my ridiculously loud cpu cooler...hacked from my apevia x-plorer

trying to get a good shot of my ipod dock (usb cable hot glued into position on a dock mount and connected to an internal usb port

in person you cant really see the blue because of the red fan but in pics you can see the blue grill but not the red fan...im gonna fix that with a 230mm blue led fan and for the rest of the fans go no leds or white ones...not really sure...ideas, thoughts, comments anyone?

No this is not in my room dont worry...its in our guest room/family computer room for now until i get a better desk setup in my room

well i wasnt able to get much done today i ended up sleeping in then i was gonna bike to the hardware store for my hinges and got a flat halfway there and by the time i got it fixed i had to go to work(gotta work to be able to keep modding lol) but anyway im home and tomorrow im off so hopefully ill get the hinges and more paint and primer then ill paint the disc drive and add my hinges...ok my next mod after the hinges will be a custom fan controller-on the right side of the front of the case im gonna make a channel fan controller to control all my fans in between each of those (im gonna call them braces for lack of a better word) im gonna put a potentiometer and link them all to a custom fan controller that all my fans will plug into and eventually on the other side i might add switches for any lights etc

i think it would look pretty sweet personally if you kept up with the blue LED fans...obviously you won't go wrong with no color or white, but i think the blue would look great...also love the work you put in on the blue grills, that adds another dimension to the case that i think a lot of people overlook...very nice so far!

Thanks! i just thought of another idea...get blue or white fans and then i can always swap out the leds depending on what looks best,,,the blue grills i saw someone do on a mod either here or on youtube...idk...but i did realize at an earlier date before i saw that mod that the grills were able to come out and i thought about painting them

i got the hinges mounted to the door and started cutting out the place for them on the inside of the case but didnt mount them yet because i didnt feel like taking the whole front panel apart

anywho heres a brief how to:
Tools:
hinges:

sharpie(to mark holes and where to cut):

Punch(i used this to quickly make the holes in the side panel for the screws):

Dremel(to make all the cuts):

Pliers(to bend the piece on the side panel straight so you can mount said hinges):

safety glasses(so you dont get anything in your eyes otherwise youd have to go to a doctor and your mod would have to sit abandoned for a while ) :

heres the side panel where i bent the hinge mount:

i cut a piece a little wider then the hinge on that groove thing in the front where it hooks onto the case and bent it straight using the pliers and then screwed the hinge to it...i dont have too many pics of this process

and that is a pic of the full side panel with the hinge mounts bent (note to self do this before painting next time as i scratec the paint with the punch when i made the holes...tomorrow ill get pics of how the hinge is mounted and of the mounting to the case

I gotta say I love the blue grilles in the front and back.

As for the Fans/ Lighting I would go either Blue or White. But for this particular situation I vote Blue. I think with the white bg in the case it would be very bright especially if the case sits on your desk next the monitor like it does on my desk. Just my $.02 ultimately its up to you but so far I like where your headed.
now for the sleeving you could get 450 or 550(I cant remember which) paracord and sleeve the individual wires separately. I love the Paracord look and am contemplating it on my own build. Heres a thread with some really good tips on the sleeving

I like the color scheme and work you've done so far. I did the same line pattern on the top of an old case...very cool.

thats why i chose the white mobo try so anycolor i use will reflect off of it...
unfortunately i dont have enough room on my desk, but you are able to see in the case still...
im gonna do a combo blue and white sleeving job on all the cable and change all the plugs to uv blue ones and get some uv cold cathodes so maybe i might go with white fans instead...its a lot to color coordinate...

blue and white sleeving
uv blue connectors
uv cold cathodes
blue led fans
and maybe white led fans on the radiator...

and for liquid cooling should i go with this:
http://www.frozencpu.com/products/12...l=g30c321s1310
or this:
http://www.frozencpu.com/products/11...l=g30c321s1310

my idea for the second one is that right now ill only be cooling a cpu and that later when i get sid cards ill lc them with a 360 rad mounted externally but what do you guys think and if i got the 360 would it cool the cpu 120mm better and would it be capable of cooling the cpu and two 460s?
