I'm upgrading from 2 5770s, figured I'd save some money for the 6xx and 7xxx series so here are my two options.
playing at 1920x1080, from benchmarks it would seems that a ref 6970 is faster than a ref 570. though I do believe a gtx 570 benefits more from overclocking. still hard to decide :/

does the witcher 2 still perform like **** on amd cards?

Love the Twin Frozr III design. Both should be awesome cards but I voted 6970.

but wont the 570 give me more headroom for overclocking? seeing that the 6970 is already factory clocked at 880MHz

no not really the 6970 might just have a better chip inside but really 6970 would be better overall

though I like reference cards better my final decisions came between a 6970 lightning and the evga 580 gtx, basically only got the 580 because its reference , so id def take the 6970 over a 570 but thats just me.

And initially the witcher 2 ran like crap on all cards because of some drm nonsenese.
