sure i am using this kit

Try using the XMP profile in your bios or set the voltage and timings yourself manually. Run memtest as well but some X58 kits don't play nicely with SB.

Thouse are x58 chipset RAM and they run 3 channel when SB can only support 2 channel
maybe try removing one of the sticks and try what happens then

Personally I would be picking up a sandy bridge rated kit. 1.8v is certainly not good for the chip. Only other thing I can think of is to turn the cpu pll over voltage thingy on.

Well I have the same timings and voltage, but I use memory sticks from QVL and it's all good even if I lower the voltage to 1.55V
I think you just need to search for some G-skill ripjaws x RAM and you should be all good

!00% agree. Any combination of ram and vcore that exceeds 3.02 volts is asking for trouble. If you need that much ram voltage for stability something is very wrong.
