No, the tactile bump is less pronounced on Browns but there is no double click issue. Blacks are very fatiguing. If you want to try Reds the Linear R's are perfects but very hard to acquire (and cots lots of $$$) but the KBC Poker in Reds is a good starting point. Thanks for the compliment. Gaming is great, sharp. Reds would be epic on this board.

Yeah, I think I saw amazon carry the Filco Linear R TKL once before? I wish I had grabbed it, unless I am mistaken. Ripster has one with some slick keycaps on it. Wish I had it. =(

Very nice keyboard! I had the choice to get this one but went with the cherry MX red limited that comes with red WASD, I really didnt like the labels being on the front.

Nice idea using the clear caps.

They WILL get clearer over time as the texture wears down but not completely because the inside surface is not polished.


Should look especially nice if you ever get a keyboard with a lighted Numlock or other LED key.

Yeah, that's the Buckling Spring type. It's one of those deals where either you love it or you hate it.

None of the Cherry MX switches make this sound. For example, the Cherry MX Blues are tactile and clicky, but it's a very pleasing and satisfying sound and noticeably quieter than the click that the Buckling Spring switch type makes.

I cannot wait for Friday when mine comes in. I am already considering some key caps, though that's a ways off until I get used to it Working on a book and this keyboard is my totem. If its out, people will know to leave me to my work

I also got my filco ninja browns tenkey last week and love it! Mine also doesn't have the ping problem either.

Heres the order of keyboards i had ya membranes which i spent alot of money on them which wont happen again.... Than abs m1 then dell 101w than xarmor u9bl and than went too the black widow ut and used that for 7months and loved it and bought the filco and its my best board now

Main reason i went with the filco is too have a smaller keyboard and i don't use the number pad at all and i wanted too try cherry browns lol And so far i like them.

I also love the front facing lettering better than on the top.

Was worth the 170$ i payed total which i got it with 21$ overnight shipping from amazon.

But ya nothing was wrong with my black widow ut preorder board, I just like too try different things lol.. All those keyboards are still getting use tho i listed on top.
