Well at least you're getting somewhere...me I'm still procrastinating and looking for cheaper perforated metal in my area. I might be able to start and finish the mod this spring/summer as some new tools have arrived...a band saw and some dremel cut-off accessories. But yeah real-life is taking most of my time so yeah...

A more general message prompted by the previous post:

Unfortunately a thread revival won't be happening any time soon. I do realize that there is not that much work to do to complete my mod, but other things have come up that take priority over this project. In addition to this, I became quite ill recently and was out of action for close to three weeks so real life and my studies outweigh any desire to mod. If this mod had been sponsored I would definitely have made a point of putting time into the mod more regularly and I think it would have been finished long ago, but as it is a project of my own I am my own boss concerning the modding I can allow myself to put it aside for the time being. I do have almost everything that I need to complete the mod, its just about finding time and getting into the mindset to start modding again.

Concerning your question about an Inventor version of a CM 690 II: I didn't find one as I wasn't really looking for one, but that doesn't mean that there isn't one out there in the wilderness of the internet.

I'm really not sure when I am going to update this thread again, but hopefully next time that I do the mod will be complete smile.gif
