HAF X Hotswap Bays Not Working?

Thread Starter
I tried to put in my WD 1TB Caviar Green into the hotswap bay but its not reading it. I hear the disk spin but it does not show up on my computer. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Are the SATA ports set to AHCI or RAID? Also, is the hotswapping hotplugging option enabled in UEFI?

Well I read that SATA 6GBs cables are compatible with the older SATA2 HDDs, or at least I thought I read that. But its not compatible. Had to switch it with my older SATA cables.

Went through bios, checked cabling, tried different hdds. Then I found that the card (plugs) mounted in the case was mounted by only one of four screws! I could see the card deflect when I inserted a drive. Now I didn't remove these when I built the machine, and I know the case was not a return, so I can only guess that the factory failed to properly mount said card. I put the remaining 3 screws in and everything works as designed.
