My fist AMD CPU turned up today. I have always beed a consumer of Intel. This is the first AMD CPU in my hand.

IMHO, this OEM CPU is packed really well.

Hopefully some of the other parts will arrive next week. I am also planning to bring the case to the CAR painting shop. The temperature here will not be so friendly for a home DIY painting. I will ask them to prime it and then I will probably finish it with my desired black green combo.

Thanks, I will take that sticker out as soon as I started painting.

I used a paint stripper to remove the paint. I just followed their procedure below:

1. Apply thick, even coat of Paint Stripper using a pint brush. Work on small section at a time to prevent paint re hardening.
2. Allow 5-15 minutes for the coating to blister before removing with a scraper, before paint re-hardens.
3. Wash surface with water, or with methylated spirits if surface is affected by water, using a suitable scourer.
4. Allow the surface to dry throughly. Remove any residue by sanding before new painting commences.
