Interested in buying a phase change - What should I look for?

Admittedly, I have basically zero experience and little knowledge regarding phase change but I saw someone on Craigslist selling his phase change setup and it intrigued me greatly.

Basically I'm just coming here to ask, what should I be looking for in the phase change and how much should it roughly cost?

All I currently know is that the compressor is DanFoss SC18CLX.2.

Here are two pics the guy sent me of the setup-

Thanks for the help all

That unit was built my Runmc and is a very solid unit.

It uses a 7.5 length 1 inch diameter accumulator, .040 or .042 captube, 3 foot suction, Chily1 evaporator, r507 refrigerant 3/4 ton copeland condensing unit condenser and is charged and designed to hold 300 watts.

It also runs on 115v power.

Idle is around -45c loaded around -35c to -38c at 300 watts

^^ Awesome thank you for that great info. Do you have any idea on what sort of price range would be fair for this unit?

They can easily go for $600+ new. I've never really priced a new one, although mine is very similar to the ones in the pics and is also made by Runmc.

What are the odds something like that turns up on CL. Good find there and hopefully for a good price. Out of curiosity, where are you located?
