The voltage increase is 0.037mV so I personally would not expect that much heat, I am not sure if you are on water or not.

I have currently 2x 120.3 (PA120.3 and RX360) radiators, and I am going to get a 3rd one whenever I can find the money. These cards do make heat and Oklahoma is in the middle of a record setting heat wave. Most of the country is, but I think Oklahoma/Texas started with the rising temperatures. My max temperature is around 51~52c right now. Which may not seem like much, but thats on two 120.3 radiators, the down side of radiators is they have the ability to raise room temperatures as well. So I can hit 100F in my room which is unbearable to be in. If I add another radiator, I will not lower idle temp, but I will definitely lower max temp a good 5~10c, which should make a decent difference.

Its why I am not really pushing the 590 vs 6990 thread. I hope you do all partake in that.

Palit Bioses are up!
EVGA Non-HydroCopper Specials are up!

Gigabyte / Palit BIOS data added if anyone is curious.

As always, please report any issues or problems, and I will do my best to jump all over them.
Ragin are you not using ac? I was turning mine off when I went to work but found it impossible for e unit to catch up by the time I got home. I found if I leave my ac on 75when I leave then drop it to 70 while I'm home my room stays decently cooled except fir the hottest parts of the day which it can get up to 80+ in the house even with the ac blowing. My gpu temps were still maxing out at 40-47 though considering you have 2 I guess that makes sense for the extra 10degrees, this heat is killer, I definitely notice now the my pc is down how much heat she gives off

Raging your a gentleman and a scholar of the highest pedigree. Your EVGA specials that you recently uploaded worked a treat.

Crysis 2 in full DX11 high res, plays like butter at 2560 x 1600 where as this overclock on the other bios, was stuttery for some reason. Not sure what you did but even Witcher 2 is playing like a dream.

Thanks for putting so much effort into the 590 scene, I might try increasing my OC, what actually makes this bios special? Currently stable (Furmark, 3dMark11, Games) on 700Mhz, 1800Mhz . No throttling in sight. Happy as Larry. Cheers mate I owe you a beer or two

Flashed "Special" BIOS and got furmark, unigine heaven and 3Dmark11 runs w/o any problems @ 700MHz
while Crysis 2 is downloading i can test stability only on these benchmarks

after 3Dmark11 voltage and GPU Clock were strange - in GPU-Z 533MHz @ 0.9v under load; in furmark 700MHz @ 0.963v under load but result shows 533MHz @ 0.9v (score and fps were as before 3Dmark11 with 700MHz @ 0.963v); in afterburner graphs 700MHz @ 0.963v under load but 700MHz / 50MHz (GPU1 / GPU2) first 10-15 secs of idle right after load

weird

I am using the AC but she is dying. I can't get the house to cool to 75 anymore, so my room, which is the farthest corner of the unit is 87~90F with my computer running.

I actually just set up a portable AC unit in the room not 60 minutes ago, and we have reached 75F and it feels frigid!

That is very strange, perhaps lower the overclock (after a reboot.) Any chance the driver crashed? Its been known to stay in kind of a safe mode, or PDL Mode 3, but a reboot fixes it.

Your BIOS has been uploaded ReignsOfPower Specials. Be sure, you especially, to monitor temps, 100% is already unlocked for you, but if you find the temps start increasing (keep it under 90 at the most) go back to stock for a bit.

Don't forget, nobody has proven anything with Specials. They are another attempt to get past 700 MHz like we used to be able to @ 0.963v.

@All, Please don't forget that I am human, I have made a lot of BIOSes, and if I have forgotten a request, please post again. I feel like I have caught up to date.

I spoke with Juggalo, and I thought it would be great to have another post showing how simple it is to install a water block, and what to look out for when doing it. Most everyone already on water feel free to add their experiences, I know I have a few tips in dealing with HydroCoppers excessive restriction, that I only found out about after the purchase

Also of note, I have heard rumors there will be an AXP aftermarket cooler for the GTX 590. What a beast that will be!

Since it was conveniently removed, please contact Juggalo if you don't hear from me.

For whatever reason.

Meanwhile, if the mods want me gone, I will leave, I have no desire to be where I am not wanted. I just ask that you don't delete the thread. I am here to help people, share ideas, to learn, and have a laugh.

Forget the mods - clearly whoever is doing this doesn't realise what constitutes the wellbeing of a community. It is clear you have gone out of your way to help us, and for a moderator to punish you for that is nothing short of rediculous.

If you are driven out I'll be outraged.

Its their rules I have to abide them and respect them, but I personally feel I have been much more of help than any sort of nuisance. Several people, not naming any names, but even ones I enjoy reading, are OCN's official trolls, and seem to get away with obviously daunting material.

Unfortunately I don't have the right to say whatever I want, but I didn't see anything I was saying as an issue. I normally have nothing but love for some moderators, but apparently it is an unrequited love.

Great post. I was checking constantly this blog and I am impressed! Extremely helpful info particularly the last part Odśnieżanie dachów I care for such info a lot. I was seeking this particular info for a long time. Thank you and best of luck.

tried 267.85 with "0.963" BIOS and with "Special" BIOS. even little OC to 630 ended with constant throttling to 553@0.8v of GPU1 while GPU2 still worked fine. same thing on 607@0.988v (!) and even on 607@1.0v (!!!) - constant GPU1 throttling.
with 275.33 still works stable on 670@0.963v
flashed to stock BIOS and performed clean install of 267.85, then after several reboots flashed "0.963" BIOS, rebooted twice and still this **** =(
for now i'm waiting 28x.xx
