disinformating is baad
Post your results showing that the card isnt throttiling cause in Crysis 2, 3DMark Vantage and 3DMark11 scores/fps are dropping after 0.975v....

PS. Unless MSI European version uses a "special" bios that keeps the card from exploding..

Edited: Out of curiousity i set the voltage to 1.05 and run Heaven 2.5 on 1920x1080 tesselation Extreme 16x 8x AA/AF On 0.975v and 690MHZ : 98.1FPS on 1.05v and 772MHZ: 84.5FPS...

You have test with 0.988mV ?
Yes it throttles on vantage and 3dmark 11 but it doesnt throttle to Heaven Bench 2.5
I did some more testing and in heaven it doesnt throttle until 1.013 there it pushes 102fps on full settings as above and 730core.

Check my results here in "Heaven 2.5 (1920x1080)" spreadsheet. Also there are some screenshots in thread of other tests but they werent submitted in right way

For points, Wogga's results are best for sure. His RAM and capable mobo makes magic happen in benches.

Here's me at 740 and .975V with Heaven

And 3DM11 which has much more aggressive throttling in the driver profile.

Misinformation abouuuuuunds . I could push 775 at .975V but anything over 750 throttled in 3DM11 like mad.

Hi there,

Can someone please help me and modify my GTX590 BIOS. The problem is that all BIOS'es here are version 70.10.37....and my GTX590 has 70.10.42... So none of them work with my card.

I attached my original BIOS GTX590A & GTX590B. Can someone plese voltage unlock it?

Thank you and best regards,

Miha

It doesn't quite work like that dude - we could modify the minimum and maximum voltages in the BIOS but the drivers will throttle the card anyway (depending on which driver set and program you're using).

However the voltage could be bumped up to 0.963v minimum and ~1.05v maximum or something - is that what you're after?

Hi guys. It's my first post in this forum and my first time with a 590 but nonetheless I'm still willing to overclock this beauty. Could you guys help me to edit my bios files so that I can reach a voltage of at least 0.963v?

Thanks in advance.
