evga newer bios, unlocked to the highest voltage the new drivers will support which after burner shows as .988, runs with a stable clock of 750mhz, getting 90+ frames in BF3 On max settings 1080p thumb.gif the gtx 590 is now all I ever hoped for.

Hi there.

First of all, GREAT post! I learned a lot from it.

I have a GIGABYTE 590.
Can you please re-upload the custom (voltage unlocked) firmware?
Thanks!

Best Regards
-Jeppo

I am having the same error where the prompt will open for a split second, talk about adapters, and then close without doing any updating. This happens as well when I try it on a flash drive. I am really just trying to get a stock clock eVGA BIOS with the .963 minimum voltage increase. Here is a link to a rar with all four of my gtx 590 sli current bioses. Thanks for all that you have done so far RagingCain, it is greatly appreciated!

Hello. I'm trying to use nvflash.exe to update to a custom ROM, from the latest and greatest NVIDIA provided a week ago. When I run the 5.1 for Win7 I receive the following error:

"
EEPROM erase failed.

ERROR: Software write protection enabled, unable to erase EEPROM.
"

Do I need some flags enabled?

Try putting --protectoff at the end of the cmd line, then disable the cores your flashing
