[GTX 590] Flashing & Overclocking Thread - Page 50

Can you reupload the gigabyte bios once again? The link in the main page isn't working. So excited to try this i might just have to try the other brands if they're all the same!

I have to say, I played with my bios for about 15 mins after reading this article and browsing youtube for vids on how to properly mod bios and I have to say, this is the best thing to happen to my gaming rig since i built it. I have my Quad SLI GTX 590's watercooled and running as fast as GTX580's. I boosted my 3dMark 11 score by about 2000 points and hit nearly P16500. I wouldn't have been able to do it without this article and I am so happy to have added acumen to my already good arsenal of OC knowledge thumb.gif

Hey i've had my 590 for a while, only ever running it to a max of 645/1290/1775 - only because of the stock cooler :/
now i have set up a custom loop, Heatkiller rev. 3.0 hole edition (590) block triple rad for card.
have tried many times to flash the bios to access voltage control for OC'ing... but never with any luck... frown.gif
when i do the drag n' drop on nvflash, they match, it asks to procede, i hit "y" then i get an EEPROM error, something about write protection. i cant use command lines to save my life, so is there any other way?

ENGTX590 (ASUS)
Bios ver. 70.10.37.00.01 / 70.10.37.00.02
ENGTX590.zip 92k .zip file
(these are my bios's untouched)

all im looking for is a higher voltage limit enough for 750+mhz

Thanks in advance, Blade.

Open up cmd , drag n drop the nvflash exe onto it and the type --protectoff make sure there's a space after the .exe of nvflash so it should look like this, nvflash.exe --protectoff.

Then disable all the the options (not sure you need to but i do to be safe)

Once disabled you should be able to flash successfully.
