IMON pin on PWM, anyone know?

Does this pin give the the voltage difference across a current sensing resistor?

I want to measure load transients, and i know the PWM monitors the total output current.

The IMON pin is a current monitoring output pin, but when i hook up a DMM to it the voltage stays constant, of course idk where to ground it.

Anyone have any input?

I don't want to bother soldering to use my scope if its a waste of time.

voltage should stay constant.. its for monitoring amperage, not voltage. IMON is used in conjunction with OCP.

I thought a pin like that would be given a voltage difference no? Or does the PWM itself measure current from these pins?
