Welcome to OCN since this is your first post

You can actually potentially unlock a core for dual core on these:

Try reading this - it should help you in your quest for 3.5ghz overclocking:

Good. Now start bumping up the FSB. I have mine with unlocked core running 3.6GHz on air, my only issue is my ram is holding me back and my motherboard (biostar a880g+) does not let me modify timings correctly.

What software do you use to stress it? OCCT? Prime? LinX? IBT?

1. The second core is damaged > nothing to do with that, but I hope it'll be fine, C3 revision is a really good one, and it is not so hard for AMD to make a dual-core in C3 smile.gif
2. The voltage is too low for dual-core. Try to bump a CPU voltage in BIOS, one or 2 steps higher then now and test it. Try not to go above 1.55V for CPU, 1.5 should be totally safe.
3. The core temperature is too high during stress, what are the temps like?
4. Is PSU 100% OK? What kind of PSU are you using?

Please fill in your system specification to let us know what your rig is like.

I used LinX

Also is my core damaged ????????

My CPU gets 1.33 V , how do i increase the voltage .. I do not see an option for doing that smile.gif I am a noob

Temperatures are fine ~ 51 C

PSU is 98 %

cause instead of 12 V .I am getting 11.7 V and after unplugging my chasis fan , it comes to 12 V

May be too low for dual-core

BIOS>ADVANCED tab>JumperFree Configuration>CPU Over Voltage, add some voltage there

Crank it up to 1.4v and push the core clock up to around 3.5ghz

Keep HTT around 2000 and bump NB-CPU to overclock the NB to ~2.5ghz

Yay for free cores!
