EDIT: I will not be accepting work in 2012 and the countdown has begun for shop closure in 2011. Soon it will be winter and I will no longer be doing shop work of any type.
I just got back from vacation and have been answering PMs and emails about case work. Right now I have the time and inclination to take on some work. My shop rate is $30/hour with a one hour minimum charge. I am located in Virginia (24151) but I have an international clientele. I've been professionally modding PCs since 2005, using a skill set I developed during my 20 years working as a luxury yacht carpenter in South Florida.
For those of you unfamiliar with my work please have a look at my "portfolio" posted up in this Vendor subforum. Common tasks I perform include "factory" perfect openings in PC case panels for fans, windows, and radiators; powder coating cases; fabricating custom mounts and brackets; Liquid Cooling System (LCS) conversions and installations; custom designed and fabricated acrylic parts and components and other technically challenging PC modifications including custom wiring harnesses and unique lighting effects.
This window of opportunity for shop work will last about 2 months as far as I can tell. So if you have a project that requires professional attention now is the time to put me to work. Please contact me via PM to discuss details.
Thanks!
