Audacity Help

Looking to record both what I hear out of my computer as well as from my Mic, and way to properly set this up?

I may be able to help, but you'll have to be more specific.

What the music source is
Why you want to record from ? speakers?

Normally w/ recording prgm like audacity, you record straight from the input source (CD player, turn table, etc), or a mic.

Why input the audio into the computer, out thru speakers (which will have some or a lot of loss) instead of recording straight from the source? In Audacity, you can monitor the audio thru speakers during recording.

May I suggest some audio help sites w/ people that have yrs of experience using Audacity & others:
