5 Silver Cardas - DH Labs interconnects

Interest check/appraisal for 5 RCA interconnect I made. They are made with DH Labs Silver Sonic BL-1 interconnect wire, Cardas silver plated RCAs, and Cardas silver lead-free solder. Four of the cables are about 14" long, one is slightly smaller, around 12.5." I used the smaller one for my center channel. The black heat shrink on one end indicates an extra ground connection. The end without the heat shrink has this extra ground wire unattached. This is a silly but interesting theory to reduce induced noise. The heat shrink end should be connected to the amp.

I made them for use with an Anthem PVA7 and Pioneer Elite SC 35, but I've since gotten rid of the Elite. I will get something else soon, but I have not decided what I want to use. I will end up making new interconnects when I get a new processor because it was a really enjoyable experience and I would like to try some different cable and connectors. I would actually like to go with XLR if I find a receiver/amp combo that will accept it.

honestly, i couldn't say until i test the quality of the cables. great project btw. so honestly, i would only dub $20-$30 per cable, assuming the project turned out well seeing as how you used only gem parts for it. also 14" is on the short side. ><

good luck with the sale and do you have thread showing how you made them?

I don't have a detail thread. It was pretty much acetone cleaner - Qtip - solder - acetone cleaner - Qtip. I can post some detail pics of the solder joints. They turned out quite well IMO. I'm very happy with them.

I made them to put a surround sound processor right on top of an amplifier. They are just long enough to do that. I thought I could get away with 12", that is why one was that size. I then realized I needed 14" after that. I figured the 12" would go well in the center channel position. I don't think the slight length difference is a problem.
