In theory it seem like a fridge rig would work but in real life it won't.Even though I would like to do a test one day in a commercial freezer that you might find in a packing house.Ya know the ones that are bigger than most houses.

Whoops that's not what I thought I typed, haha! I meant there will be condensation in the fridge regardless, I didn't mean that the PC would cause this.

Mate I am refrigeration mechanic, your fridge will not burn the compressor out unless it is running in a very warm environment and the fridge has less of a cooling capacity then the heat load of your computer. I will refer you to wiki about the condensation side of things;

https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikiped...wiki/Dew_point

But truly it should work, but a bar fridge maybe a bit small, Plus just in case I am wrong I stress trying this on something not so important ie. old computer or something.

but most computers have more heat output than a fridge is ment to take away all the time. thats why they burn out..

people have done this. and have had them burn out. been enough of them for people to learn.

Fridge compressors are meant to run in half-cycles, NOT 24/7. It will burn out after a relatively short period of time even if it does a sufficient job of cooling the system.
