HAF X owners, does your PCI-E slots line up? - Page 2

Mine is a little off but I thought it was just because I'm putting downward pressure on my motherboard because of my radiator.

Man, my haf x also just arrived from newegg and I am having this exact same issue. I put a level on the cpu motherboard "tray" area and it is leveled like 5 full degrees wrong. This results in all PCI slot failure to load correctly.

Thread Starter
it looks like this issue is more widespread than I thought

if you look at newegg reviews and press crtl + F...and do a search for PCI, you'll see quite a few people mention the expansion cards not lining up

btw i recently got another haf x....and its having the same issue...will be contacting cooler master for a replacement

I had to use some of the smaller screws that came with the case instead of the thumbscrews to get the cards to line up properly.

I had quite a bit of trouble getting my graphics card to line up too. I have the Maximus IV Extreme. eventually I found that the mobo was tilting a little because of the weight of my cpu cooler so I tightened up all the screws and stuff. Went in fine afterwards.

Mine are slightly off, but everything works fine.

No problem here, but then again I'm not from the US.
