new to nvidia plz help me!

Thread Starter
i just got a msi gtx 560 ti twin frozr. just a couple of questions, as this is my first nvidia card and have only used ati up until now.
Can and should i use nvidia drivers or should i stick to the msi drivers?
Also msi website gave me 266.44 driver and the cd that came with the card is 266.77... not sure which one is newer, i assume the website would be newer but i dont think any driver would descend in number.
thanks!

You should use the newest ones on the Nvidia website (275.33, far newer and many improvements in a lot of different games)

The ones that came with your card were made in February

Never use the manufacturer's drivers, always get drivers from Nvidia.

You should also use Driversweeper ™ to sanitize the AMD driver remnants since you're switching from AMD to Nvidia, and vice-versa too.

No, there won't be any problems. You always use Nvidia's drivers, period.

Manufacturer's make drivers since when a card is just released current drivers might have severe issues with it
