Well I was going to shut my rig down for 2 days for no reason, but I guess now I won't. tongue.gif

{knocks on the fake wood that is his work desk} This could be my first cat win ever!!! wheee.gif

EDIT:
And if anything happens that causes downtime, I'll have to smack Kevdog for thowing his law around.

Wondermutt, do you have the 8 core hack in place? I think I figured out why I got the string of 750xs for a bit. I noticed it wasn't enabled last night and after putting it back in I have gotten two 690xs in a row. I think you have had 609xs all month so I was wondering if you had it running.

Arvidab prefers the 750xs but for me with the exception of the 7500 (wich makes 30-31,000 PPD) they all make less than the 609x series of WUs. Hopefully the corehack keeps me getting 609x.

You got two bigadv in row, guess the BA-supply for eight threaded machines are gone for a few months. frown.gif

Tbh, I haven't ran many 609x on my 2500K, 6097 is the only one I have data on right now. 6097-6099 was around 1k less than most 7500-series I've had with my X6, except the 7500 and 7501 which had a 3-4k edge.

The 609x only comes to me by having the -advmethods (or -bigadv) and big packets selected in config. I might try the corefix and BA flag with my 2500K and see what it'll do with the 609x and in the unlikely event a 6900/6901.

No bigadv, I just realized i was typing 69xx instead of 609x. Bigadv would be nice but they seem few and far between. A few people in Div 2 Cat 3 have gotten them but it seems like no one in Div 1 has.

I would be interested to see your testing. For me the 7500s are 30K, the rest of the 750x are 24-25K and the 609x are 26-28K. I think the 6099s run the best for me. Ill see if I have actual number in my HFM, it would be interesting to compare results.

Yeah, I kept my exact same setup from when I was folding hugeadv WUs, just changed the corehack from 12 to 8 cores, everything else I left the same (-bigadv flag, packet size as big and whatever else).

The only WUs I have seen on the 2500k are 6099s, I'd love to get some 6097s as they net me about 3k more PPD, but I haven't seen any on this rig. Now on my 2700k, which I'm running the exact same setup on, all I've gotten is 6097s. Too bad they can't just switch the WU selection around!

This the data on the WU's I have done recently. Seems the 6097-6099 is a bit better overall than the 75xx on the 2500K, would like to get nothing but 7500 though, but now I have the odd chance of getting a 6900/6901.

OK, what's going on with the stats? They are all over the place! It looks like some have updated and some have not. My GTX460 that is temping in the Wildcard slot seems to be about right, but my 2500k is not showing a WU that dropped 2.5 hours after the TC started for the month. I just wanted to see if someone (BWG, axi, etc) could take a look at the stats page and let us know when it will be right. Thanks!
