The garage is the one with the displaced bricks thankfully! However we do have a tiled roof and a snapped beam up there so we're still not really much safer inside heh. The damage from earthquakes can also be a gradual thing too. We've discovered within the last month that there is a large hole in our lawn and there are cracks running from floor to ceiling in some rooms (just cosmetic damage though, not structural) which all weren't there after the major earthquakes in September & February. Our property still hasn't been assessed for the damage which is kinda good because when they do come, there'll be much more visible stuff than there would've been had they come around earlier. Should get most of the rooms re-painted and a couple of the floors re-done too. Oh and a new garage (one with a workbench for me biggrin.gif)

Queen of off topic convo's rolleyes.gif

So what happens when you want to buy an SSD and there is no hard drive cage because it suffered the pain of metal cutting tools? headscratch.gif

Also, i think the car coolant would suite the sleeving + res much more. Or do you use that tubing with the coolant? first day back at school from holidays...brains already over worked. kookoo.gif

That's me wink.gif

In the 690 II Advanced, the hard drive cage is actually removable + I already have an SSD tongue.gif They're (when I get the replacements for my 2 dead 64GB SSD's) going to be mounted against the back of the motherboard tray.

I tried the coolant out in the loop last time around and it looked horrible in the res. Couldn't see the helices very well, which defeats the purpose of spending all that money on one of Alex's beautiful pieces.

System.jpg

It doesn't look too bad in that picture, but irl, it wasn't great. Would also require cleaning out the blocks on a regular basis. I ran the coolant in the loop for about 4 months and the jet plate in the CPU block was half clogged up already.

EDIT: Jtchal, I've got 25 feet of black sleeve on its way from the US at the moment, but I am barely going to use any of it so I don't mind giving you the leftover stuff. I don't have much heatshrink left though frown.gif

Sounds awesome, I'd feel bad just taking it off you though..
I want to use it to sleeve up all those cables that come from the top/panel, since the white/orange/blue/green etc cables don't really tickle my fancy tongue.gif
Oh and probably sleeve up some fan cables too!

Meh I'm not bothered. Only cost me $8NZ including shipping. Should hopefully be enough to do what you're wanting. Also, I had only planned on sleeving the I/O cables and fan cables in my build too. That's how it all starts tongue.gif You catch the sleeving bug and then you gotta sleeve everything!
