GTS 450 PhysX Question?

Thread Starter
Ok:

What About the PhysX Setting in My NVIDIA Control Panel. I Have 3 Choices (1) I Can Have My Video Card Handle it. (2) I Can Have My CPU Handle it. (3) Or I Can Have My Monitor Handle it. Under Auto Selection NVIDIA Has My Monitor Handling PhysX (Samsung SyncMaster 931c 2ms). Any Suggestions?

I Play Counter Strike Source,TF2, Modern Warfare 2. Almost Any FPS Game.
Looking to get Steady Over 400 FPS Getting Between 150 and 220 in CSS Maps
Getting Between 116.42 & 120.54 FPS in CSS Video Stress Test.

Never heard of the monitor handling it. Always set it to your graphics card.

None of those games support PhysX anyway, so that isn't limiting your framerates. That cpu is probably bottlenecking the card pretty bad, though.

You don't play anything that uses PhysX.

And this silly infatuation of having some utterly absurd framerate with vsync off such as 324324324 fps puzzles me.

But yes, none of your games support PhysX. If you don't have a dedicated PhysX card, you should leave it on Auto for when you decide to play Mafia II or Ghost Recon... or some other PhysX supported game.

Thread cleaned, let's keep it on topic here guys.

At the OP:
None of the games you listed support PhysX, so the point doesn't matter anyway. However it would be best to let your GPU handle the PhysX processing, because your CPU certainly can't handle it. Mine can't even handle it.
