Just had my system crossfired(vfx hd6950 2gb).fps maxed is 40-80 which is good.but one thing I've noticed since the upgrade is small patches of flickering on the skyline,is this a crossfire issue or can my monitor(aoc tft22w90ps) be a problem

I had this issue too with my 4870X2 when running Crysis. I never really figured it out as I never really played Crysis much on it.

What drivers are you using?

I realize the problem you're having seems related to the Catalyst drivers or AMD Cards you have but I have the same problem now and again with my GTX560s in SLI mode.

Hmm... wonder what the deal is?

Nvidia Beta Drivers: 275.50 (The Beta drivers allow me to enable SLI on my Board)

I get the same with my GTX 590 every now and then, but it's not constant. I'm using the 275.50 beta drivers - must be a multi-GPU thing.

I have never had a problem at all like you guys are describing. And I've only ever used single GPU systems (8800GT, 8800GTS 512, HD4850, HD4890, GTX470, GTX580).

So yeah, sounds like a typical multi GPU issue.

I guess your right,I think these multi-gpu set ups have there issues. Its not the end of the world, but in my opinion I think your better off with a top end single card set-up
