EK D5 X-Res 100?

Does anybody have any experience with EK's D5 X-RES tube reservoirs? I wanted to pick one up from Sidewinder for my upcoming water loop, but I was wondering if anyone on OCN has ever used one and recommends for/against it.

It seems to me to be very convenient for pump placement. I'm not really happy with placing it anywhere else, and this thing just seems perfect. Does anyone have anything to say about it? Is the mounting system any good?

Works great I LOVED mine until i switch to the Koolance RX452X2 It looks even nicer if you get one of the internal tubes and wrap a silver killcoil around it and have it in the middle of the reservoir smile.gif I have my X-RES 140 just lying around if you wanna make a offer, only used for about 5 days before I had to change water-cooling loop path to fit the GPU better and switch to the RP452X2 for convenience

Thanks for the reply, yhpm smile.gif

Is an anticyclone necessary for the reservoir?

Mine came with a anti cyclone, but the screws on swiftech 35x will not fit this unit, the laing 355 ones does though luckily i still have that dead pump lying around. biggrin.gif
