Hi,i have a question to asked, hope you can help me.My spec:
AMD Phenom II X2 555BE
Asus M4A88T-V EVO/USB3
Standard PSU by case
Cooler Master Hyper TX3
2GB 1333 DDR3 Kingston RAM
Standard ATX Case

my question, when i enable Core Unlocker for the first time,it display POST as X4 but when go to"Windows Is Loading",it reboot then post as X3 and fully stable.so the fouth core is not stable? I am using 4-pin power connector to my processor on the motherbord,so to get the fouth core stable,do i need to upgrade my PSU to a 8-pin power connector?(sorry for my bad english)

Your 4th core is just not stable. Probably damaged or something. Count yourself lucky that you got one extra core out of the processor.

OK,thank you for your reply. Are you sure theres no way I can get 4 cores by changing the voltage, changing the 4-pin cpu power connector to 8-pin cpu power connector or something else - I have no clue. One more thing what is the difference between 4-pin cpu power connector and 8-pin cpu power connector?

A new power supply won't allow the 4th core to be stable.

You can try increasing the voltage.

4-pin CPU (I think they're called ATX +12v) connectors are rated up to 140w I think, not sure on 8-pins. If you're going to be running a high voltage on a quad core, you'll want an 8-pin, but in most cases you'll be fine on a 4-pin, and I haven't heard of them having a significant effect on stability. If you're crashing before Windows is even loaded, it's probably a crappy core, or not enough voltage.

Yeah mate, unlocking is never guaranteed with those chips so be happy you got an extra core for the money spent for a dual. A new power supply won't help as the core is defective that's why it was disabled in the first place. Enjoy your X3!

It's most likely unstable however slim chance you just need a bit more voltage to run stable. usually if you unlock and are able to boot into Windows that is a good sign.
