There are great deals out there. I rarely, if ever, pay regular price on anything computer related and that includes chairs, monitors, mice, etc
right, those are damn good deals, i'm pretty sure my budget would fit this rig. got any other suggestions? brand preferences? alternatatives?

how's my casing? i thought it looked pretty cool with the enforcer's door thing. would the two 580's fit there? hehe.

There's a Corsair 850w for $75 used in the For sale section. Grab it!

The Blacks are quicker than the F3's, I'm running F3's on another rig, and they do not feel nowhere near as good as these blacks.

The noctua coolers are decent, and a modular Corsair AX850 is the PSU you're looking for for future 580 sli. They are extremely quietly, as well as extremely efficient, and they can be ran over 850 watts by around 10% fairly comfortably if you ever extreme overclock.

Thanks! i'd also like to hear your opinions, too, on those i've pointed above.

For the ram the g.skill kit is either an 8GB (2x4GB) kit, which is dual channel i.e what socket 1155 chips use.

The c300 is good, but not as good as the vertex 3

hx850 will be enough SLi gtx 580s, not Tri sli.

MoBo: Asus P8P67 Pro
GPU: MSI R6970 Lightning or GTX570 TwinFrozrIII PE or Asus GTX570/6970DirectCU II What to choose?

HDD: 1TB WD Caviar Black
PSU: Corsair HX750

Cooler: Antec Kuhler H2O 620

I did some revisions, and now, I'm just thinking over what GPU to choose? Radeon or Nvidia. BTW, I like PhysX, though i've seen videos of CPU PhysX with ATI Cards.

And also, which is better at 3D?
bumping this thread! made some few changes, left with the GPUs, if you have some comments/opinions/suggestions on the other parts, feel free to tell me.
