Windows 7 sometimes wont boot

Thread Starter
So basicly on my rig in the signature sometimes Windows 7 wont boot entirely. It goes trough post normally and it even comes to Windows 7 boot screen. But the moving windows flag doesnt shows up, thus Windows doesnt boot to desktop.
I had this problem with Windows XP (post fine, but no complete boot), same with 32b Windows 7. I suspect something must be with hardware, but im not sure what.
Also a quick reboot fixes this (although i get error that windows didnt start normally due software or hardware change, but when i hit boot normally it starts just fine).
Well its not not a critical error or something, but it really bugs me gunner2.gifgunner2.gif

Also i've replaced CPU and GPU (had e8400 and 8800gts 512 beforce) on this rig, but it seems that this has no effect on this problem as its keep coming back

If anyone has an idea how to fix this, i would really appreciate it redface.gif

Do you have an external HDD hooked up, or any other USB peripherals connected on boot?

Windows will not boot for me if I start it from cold boot with external hdd connected.

I would suspect a hdd on its way out.
run chkdsk.

Possibly ram. You can use memtest to check your ram for errors.

Nope its not the voltage; thats was tested with prime95 12h and intelburntest; its stable.
This was also accuring with my older procesor, which was on its default voltage.
Ill give chkdsk one more try; disk is probobly not failing, as i would notice this from s.m.a.r.t values. Memtest would also be a good idea.
