[SOLVED] How do I setup 5.1ch over HDMI with 6950 connected to TV?

Definitely a software issue. - clean installed drivers, installed only amd drivers, tried only realtek drivers. none give me 5.1 over hdmi. So maybe it's not a software issue after all.

EDIT: Problem is SOLVED! Just get a better HTIB that has HDMI in or use a two way optical adapter. Plugin the Optical from your PC -> Adapter -> Receiver and TV -> Adapter -> Receiver. 5.1 over hdmi probably won't work because your TV is down-streaming it to 2CH. In my case I just got a better HTIB. I chose the Samsung HW-C560S system, just under $400 (I live in Canada) Good luck!
