power supply and other questions

hello everyone! im new to the WC idea. i just built a compy...and i wish i would have gotten that full tower i wanted. but too late now. i think i want to start off with just WC my cpu and see how i like it!

i just started reading the WC forums today and i havent seen anything really about a PSU. i wanna know if mine will support some light WC?
i have a thermaltake toughpower xt 775 80 plus bronze.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-127-_-Product

also, i have a Fractal Design Define R3. is there anyone here using this case with water cooling? if not, can it be done with a 360 rad or will i hafta use a 240?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-002-_-Product

my case is extremely quiet...even with 7 fans and a thermaltake frio inside. i cant even hear it running most of the time. how much of a noise increase would i receive if i were to WC?

what major temp diff will i see? im using a thermaltake frio cpu idle 23-4c and load max 48.

one more question. i WILL be upgrading to bulldozer. does anyone know of a cpu block that supports am3+ or are all of us AMD users just hoping that the AM3 cpu blocks will be compatible?

thanks so much!! im gunna go read more of the forums and watch videos :]

The power supply should support a WC loop just fine.

When it comes to the case, if you can fit a 360 radiator into it, then you can use it. Possibly having the radiator on the outside. If not you might have to go with a 240. Don't have any experience with that case, but if you're in doubt it will fit, just take some measurements to see how much space you have to work with.

am2 right through fm1 and am3+ all use the same mountings so am3 will fit on am3+

your psu is plenty as all you'll be adding to the load is a pump and maybe a fan or two. Also a 240 rad is plenty for a cpu only loop. If you can fit a 360 rad, then you could add more waterblocks later on.

thanks for the swift replies! im gunna take measurements inside the case. the case dimensions are on the bigger side for a mid tower. and i've seen others with 360's and mid towers. we'll see. but yes for now it will just be the cpu so i understand that 240 will be enough.

what are some average temps i should be expecting when making the move to WC? my OC right now is a basic 4ghz and my load is 48c
