I have the audigy value
works fine on 7 32
64bit might be trouble

gaming not really
I cant hear much difference between it and my onboard during gaming
any speakers will do

And asus xonar might be a better buy in the future though

You can get an X-Fi XtremeMusic for about $30 usually. It's a great card for the money, much better than the Audigy.

EDIT: Nevermind.... Didn't realize you were in AU.

go back to the main page of Sound Cards and Computer Audio , and then see the third sticky post by Chipp named Essintal Reading..........
On that post you can find it in the catogory about Sound Cards , you can see a link about Creative Audigy , Live24bit to X-Fi there you can find link to downloads and explaination

Sorry for the dumb way , but i'm browsing via my mobile and it's hard to copy a link

now How do I see the difference

Is there a program or a music clip so i can see the difference
post #8 of 15
its about the audio system you got (Speakers / Headphones) if they are lame or modest you cant feel very much better audio but you can benefit form the APIs (like the X-Fi Crystallizer) and i think the can be noticed even playing MP3 file

any way you have a greatly working driver on WIN7 64bit .......isn't that enough

glad it help
