what all do i have to adjust in my BIOS to succeed in attempting an overclock, i've tinkered around a little bit and i've gotten my system to run at 3.60 Ghz instead of 3.20 ghz, but it seemed like it was actually slower then when it was set to factory overclock by the switches on the motherboard, i have a feeling there is something wrong, like i'm not giving it enough power or something isn't set high enough that is holding it back, any suggestions?

Get into your profile and enter your system information so people can easily see what you have.

Post what settings you changed.

If it was 3.2GHz and you got it to 3.6GHz it is not running slower, it is just your imagination!

i changed the BCLCK to 180 and everything else was auto, also, with my type of motherboard, i have an overclock switch with 3 switches on it labeled 1,2, and 3, i read in the motherboard manual and 1 when switched into overclock is 133 mhz which is default, when 1 and 2 are both in overclock mode it is 166 mhz, and when only 2 is switched into overclock it is 200 mhz, my question is, when i'm adjusting the bios settings to attempt an overclock, do any of these switches have to be changed as well for it to work?
