Have you tried flipping the top fan for additional intake? Also, have you tried removing the cover on top of the top fan slot?

Ok, I have done some dumb painting to clarify things. "A" option is my current fan configuration for the case. I'm using stock case fans at the front and top (I moved rear to top), and a not very good scytech 12mm for the bottom part of the case.

Is option B what you are suggesting Siegriend262?.

Bottom fan seems not to have any impact, neither top fan (from my little tests), front fans speed change from middle to max did 3 or 4 degrees change.

I tested with and without the top cover, and not substancial change either :/. If you want me to test other things let me know please.

Thanks a lot for you time.

Option B was what I had in mind.

Sorry things have been frustrating for you temperature wise. The only other thing I can think of would be adding an intake fan in the 5.25" bays (if they're free for an adapter) or trying that mod I linked from SPCR, though I understand if you'd be reluctant to mod your case like that.

And to double-check, your PSU is installed with it's fan towards the bottom of the case, isn't it?

Hi!,

Yes the PSU fan is facing down, getting air from the outside. I won't mod my case this way .

Do you think changing front fans to Gentle tyhpons and adding a top 140mm van could improve temperatures?.

It is a bit weird all this... I haven't had any temperatures issues in my life . Just 3 fans, frontals and rear one, and everything has been ok.

Thanks for your interest, I really apreciate it.

The Gentle Typhoons have great static-pressure and the AP-14 models (in my experience) are very quiet for their speed and airflow level and with a 140mm fan you might get more air moving depending on the model which could help your temperatures but it's hard to say without testing.

A bit pricey at that point though

This is why I don't recommend cases that have only a single rearward fan window on the top.

Could you maybe sell your case and go for something more effective with money from that and what you'd spend on even more fans?

Otherwise there doesn't seem to be too much more you can do.

Not at this time.

I will try to mount the fans incrementally when I get some bucks .

@Siegfried262:
By the way, Wouldn't it be bad to do not have any fan extracting air if I set the top fan to push air in the case (This was the only extracting)?

Thanks for all the help.

The idea if you had your top fan pushing in air is that the rear fan would only be impeding airflow coming from your silver arrow and more air will escape without the fan, ideally with the rear grill removed but as always it's all theory until you test it yourself for your unique hardware setup.
