Problem with my CM spawn

Thread Starter
So Ive had my cm spawn for a couple of weeks now and every once in a while (usually while playing bad company 2) my spawn will start making my "system interrupts" process take up a large amount of my CPU usage(up to about 30%). This high CPU usage occurs when I move the mouse. This severely drops my fps in game and makes it unplayable. Sometimes unplugging it and replugging it in solves the problem. I was wondering if any one else had this problem. I have tried reinstalling the drivers. I have also uninstalled my previous razer drivers too.

Have you tried lowering the polling rate to 500?
High polling rate can cause high cpu usage on slower cpus

I have not tried this yet, and I wouldn't exactly call my cpu slow. 3 cores at 4.0 ghz should do fine, but ill try that next time i play.

It may be an issue with your particular system overclock, especially if it leads to your PCI or PCIE bus being overclocked (whichever your USB uses; system dependent) too high, could cause some synchronization errors and consequent retries. As an experiment, you could try reducing your overclock. I assume your Razer mouse was on the same USB port, and also using 1000 Hz polling rate? The Spawn uses the built-in Windows mouse driver; you can uninstall the Spawn software, after you've adjusted your settings, if you think it could be part of the problem, just to exclude it.
